Known for his initials SYM, Sofronio Ylanan Mendoza's book highlights the 76-year old artist's evolution of important artwork, from his earliest years to the present.

Printed in Canada, this is considered to be the first art biography coffee table book written on a Filipino-Canadian painter. Respected author Alfredo Roces, in collaboration with co-author Sandie Gillis, explores the fascinating life and masterful works of SYM. It features 236 colourful pieces of SYM's paintings, studies and drawings.
