Norman Belen
Norman started out as an animator in 1987 after receiving training from a Japanese animation studio called Tokyo Movie Shinsa. From there, his career took off and later on became one of the very first few 3D animators in the Philippines in 1991.
In 1995, he moved to Singapore where became involved in one of the very first 24-minute long 3D animated pilot for a series entitled "Rats 2099: The Young Heroes" winning in Asian Television Awards for Best Pilot Episode. His role ranged from storyboard artist to 3D animator and sharpened his skills as a character designer, which involved conceptualizing all the characters that were showcased in the show.
For the past 15 years, he got the chance to share the knowledge he acquired and became part of the education industry as a Lecturer in Traditional Art & CG Animation moulding future artists and creatives.
