Arlene George

Arlene George started her artistic training through the mentorship of Sym Mendoza. He guided her through with drawing principles in portraiture, figure drawing and still life. Because of this tutelage, she had joined his Dimasalang Group and had participated with the group exhibitions throughout Vancouver.

She continued on with her artisic training by spending two years at the Florence Academy of Art. She won the Florence Academy Merit Scholarship for her outstanding work. She plans to continue her training with Florence Academy in January 2015, to complete the Advance Painting Program.

She is currently teaching Figurative Drawing at the Mandy Bouriscot Studio in Vancouver, B.C.
